Singer-songwriter Peter Mayer composes songs about a wide variety of topics, including interconnectedness, the human journey, and the beauty and mystery of the word. The Minnesota native has toured full time since 1995 and has released seven CDs. In addition to numerous nominations for Minnesota Music Awards and selections as a finalist in several songwriting competitions, Mayer has performed and taught songwriting at the Rocky Mountain Songschool. His latest CD, "Midwinter," features 12 new original songs. He is currently working on a collection of novelty songs for release next year.

Carrie Newcomer is an Indiana-based singer and songwriter known for blending diverse musical styles. Her 10th and newest album, "Regulars and Refugees," is a collection of stories about the human condition and values such as forgiveness, kindness, love, commitment and truth. Newcomer says the songs are her attempt to process the experience of nearly two decades on the road and the many places and stories she's encountered. In her music, Newcomer covers issues ranging from living wage, mental illness, loyalty and betrayal to immigration laws, a passion for the arts and abusive relationships.
