INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION
AUGUST 24-25, 2007
Because international students have many questions that are unique to their international status, there is an additional and mandatory orientation for you. During the international student orientation, the issues of immigration regulations, banking, employment, health insurance, culture shock, cultural adjustment, and adjustment to a new academic system will be discussed. Students will also meet the people on campus who provide support to them throughout the year.
GETTING TO CONCORDIA
Plan to arrive at Concordia by August 23. The nearest airport (approximately 10 miles away) is Fargo, North Dakota. Contact the International Student Adviser to notify us of your travel arrangements and request someone to pick you up at the airport and bring you to Concordia College. Concordia will provide temporary linens (a pillow, bed sheets, blanket, and towels) so you need not fill your luggage with those items.
