Cultural Events Receives Arts Grant
May 08, 2008In support of the efforts to provide arts programming in the community, Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., applied for and was awarded a $2,000 Presenter Support grant by the North Dakota Council on the Arts.
Fulbright Scholarship
May 08, 2008Allison Schmidt, a senior at Concordia College was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. Schmidt received the scholarship for an English Teaching Assistantship in Germany. An English literature, history and German major, Schmidt who graduates this spring, spent her junior year studying in Jena, Germany. Schmidt, is the daughter of Helmut and Lori Schmidt, Fargo, N.D.
Campus Pastor Named
May 08, 2008Concordia College has named Rev. Tessa Moon Leiseth as campus pastor. Leiseth has accepted the position and will join Rev. Timothy Megorden and the rest of the campus ministry staff beginning Aug. 1.
