Class Notes

They've Got Our Backs

Mike '61 and Pat (Riedberger) '61 Elton, Apple Valley, Minn., Marian (Reitan) Li '69, Honolulu, Diane (Reitan) Zoller '65, Lake Oswego, Ore., and John Elton '60, Hawley, Minn., visited relatives and toured Norway last fall while proudly wearing their Cobber backpacks.

Miss Maria Mayer

Maria, sporting her Concordia outfit at almost 1 year old, is the daughter of the late Ryan and Lori (Schlecht) Mayer '96, Casselton, N.D.

Cobber Cooper

Cooper Egge is surrounded by Cobbers: his parents, Mark Egge '02 and Kelly Iverson-Egge '02; grandparents, Jim '77 and Bonnie (Trnka) Iverson '79; aunt, Mandy Iverson '05; and uncle, Anthony Iverson '13. Even his daycare provider, Sarah (Bigalk) Nezerka '92, is a Cobber!

Stand Up and Cheer

Heidi, 10 months old, and Bridget, 3 years old, are the daughters of Jennifer (Boese) Bohnsack '01 and Ben Bohnsack '99 of Cold Spring, Minn.

1968 Roommates

These 1968 classmates shared a house their senior year at Concordia. Last fall they gathered in Nashville, Tenn., to renew their friendships and had such a good time they are already planning their next reunion. (l-r)

Row 3: Kay (Rogers) Kline, Kathy (Karlen) Thoreson, Roxanne (Roddy) Dean

Rockin' Riley

Riley is the daughter of Jeremy '03 and Kelly (Thuesen) Pris '03, Kalispell, Mont. Jeremy swore he'd never go to the college his parents went to, then he swore he'd never marry another Cobber, and then he swore he'd never dress up his kids in Cobber clothes and submit the photo to Concordia Magazine. You can see how well all of that turned out.

Class of '95 Friends

LaTelle (Rott) Bailey '95 and her son, Aiden, of Milford, Mass., and Kristen (Dalen) Sproul '95 and her daughter, Tessie, of Eagan, Minn., spent time together around Christmas.

Cobber Cousins

Elijah (left) and Emily are the children of Bobbi Jo (Jacobson) '96 and Tom '96 Rademacher of St. Paul, Minn., and Cooper is the son of Amy and Karl '94 Rademacher of Bloomington, Ill. The three adorable cousins are the grandchildren of Charles and Maxine (Moe) '63 Rademacher of Cannon Falls, Minn.

Blue-Eyed Beauty

Kaylee, pictured here at 5 months old, is the daughter of Adam and Shanna (Kub) Brech '07, Pierre, S.D.

Class Notes Policy

Because of space restrictions, we confine our class notes to news happening within the past six months. We use only firsthand alumni information, and mailed class notes require a signature. We do not accept announcements of upcoming marriage or acceptance to graduate school; please submit following the wedding or graduation. Memorials should be sent in by family, with an obituary if possible. Submit class notes online at www.ConcordiaCollege.edu/alumniupdate.

Photographs for the class notes section of Concordia Magazine may be e-mailed to alumnote@cord.edu. Pictures must be accompanied by the month and year the photograph was taken and a list of those in the photo (including maiden names), their grad years, and cities and states of residence. Children of graduates should be pictured in Concordia clothing. E-mailed photos should be taken in at least 300 dpi resolution in TIFF or JPEG formats.

Submission of photos does not guarantee publication. Class notes and photographs may also be mailed to: Class Notes, Communications and Marketing, Concordia College, 901 8th St. S., Moorhead, MN 56562. Deadline for the next issue is Aug. 1, 2010.
