Preparing For A Worldly Career

As an international business major, with a minor in French, I'm really looking forward to my next few years at Concordia. The college offers an excellent international business program, with opportunities to really submerge into the French corporate and cultural world. I will be able to experience a semester abroad, studying at a French university and interning with a French company.
My classes and international experiences through Concordia will prepare me for my goal of working in a multinational corporation as a financial manager. Eventually, I hope to make lasting contributions in international relations and economics. Through my classes, I'm gaining an increased awareness of international issues, along with improved research, writing and speaking skills. All of these are crucial for an international business career.
Concordia's small classes also make it easy to get to know your professors. Faculty-student bonds are strong around here and the professors are very friendly, open-minded and helpful. It's always easy to relate to them and I feel comfortable sending an e-mail, calling or paying a personal visit. And most importantly, they are very knowledgeable and skilled it their fields.
One of the main reasons I chose Concordia was for the friendly, welcoming atmosphere -I always feel at home. Even while living in the Twin Cities during summer break, I missed campus and couldn't wait to return in the fall.
