The Prevention file should be in the Tutorial 4 folder on your disk (X drive). Remember that you can find the files for the tutorials under CS104 on drive X.

In-Class Assignment

Walk through WORD Tutorial IV, pages WD 147 - WD 187, hand in the printouts as requested on pages WD176 and WD187.

Exercises due for next time

Do the Case problem 4 on page WD 196.

After-Class Assignments

Complete a practice quiz on WORD Tutorial 4 .

Next Class:

1) Quiz on WORD Tutorials 1-4 in class.
2) Please note that Exam 1 will be coming up next week. The exam consists of two parts, hands-on test and objective test. The case problem in the hands-on test will be similar to the case problem your were working on (WORD tutorials 1-4, so make sure you finish all tutorials by then) in class. It is an opened book test. You should bring in your textbook for reference. The objective test, however, is a closed book test. It will be testing your mastering basic concepts and terminologies, similar to practice quizzes assigned. Many questions in practice quizzes will also appear in this test. Finally, Exam 1 will be based on all tutorials up to today's except Essential Computer Concepts.
