Excel Tutorial I -- Lab assignments

Before beginning our study of Microsoft Excel, you need to make sure you have files available for the tutorials. Please find the following folder "Excel" using the path. MY COMPUTER --> X drive --> CS104 --> Excel

Be sure to save the worksheet to Tutorial.01\Tutorial.

In-Class Assignment

  • Work through Microsoft Excel Tutorial I (both sections).
  • Word Processing Project due next Friday.

    1. Complete the tutorial and print out the results to hand in as requested on pages EX43 and EX45.
    2. Complete the Case Problem #3 and hand in the 2 printouts with the tutorial printout above. Write your name on the top page.

    After-Class Assignment

    Complete a practice quiz on Excel Tutorial I.

    Next Two Classes

    Exam I -- on Tutorials WIN XP, File Management, Browser and Email Basics, Office 2007, and Word I-IV.
    Bring in the main textbook for in-class hands-on exam.
