You may earn up to 20 points by submitting a paper from a biology seminar (video).
Other events may be variable in point value (e.g., blood donation is 10 points).
The information you turn in should include the following:
Name of speaker, title of talk, and the location and time of the seminar.
1 page summary of the information presented. These talks may go into much more detail than we have in class.
Do your best to keep up and summarize.1 page reaction/response to the information (may include but not restricted to the following): If possible, relate the seminar to what we have discussed in class.
How does the information change or strengthen your pespective?
Are there other scientific, moral, ethical or social concerns that need to be addressed?
Items will be graded on a credit/no-credit basis.
Credit may not be given for assignments that:
