Although college-age people today can't remember a time without computers, computers are really a very recent invention. Use a search engine or the library to find out why each of the following were significant in the development of modern computing. Using any text editor (Notepad, WordPad, Word, etc.) write a brief paragraph telling why each person/item was important in the history of computing.
