READ THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU VIEW YOUR VIDEO!
If you view the video with your partners feel free to critique each
other as you watch. For the purposes of the assignment however, you
are to critique only yourself. While viewing your video, critique
your speaking/presentation skills using the questions listed below.
You need NOT respond to each question, but rather, use these to help you
identify the areas of concern for your presentation skills.
1. Was your voice loud enough to be heard at all times and clearly understood?
2. How was the speed of your speaking . . .too fast? . . . too slow?
3. What did your posture communicate to your audience?
4. Did your voice seem monotonous or were you able to communicate enthusiasm by altering the volume, pitch and speech patterns?
5. Did you use meaningless phrases such as “umm” or “aah” frequently?
6. Were there any mannerisms that either helped you get your point across or may have been annoying to your audience?
7. What did the way you were dressed communicate to your audience?
