I received my electronics
training in the US Navy. While in the Navy from 1971-75 I
served with aircraft
squadron VA-196, homeported at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island,
and made two West
Pacific cruises aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVAN-65).
After military service
I attended Skagit Valley Community College and
Moorhead
State University, receiving a B.S. in Elementary Education.
Since then I have
also taken courses
in digital electronics and computer science at NDSU and MSU.
My wife, Carrie,
and I have two children and live in the rural Hawley, MN area. Carrie
is a Registered
Nurse and just recently completed the Parish
Nurse course at Concordia.
We enjoy the rural
life on our little farm and haven't missed the city much since moving
out there.
We also appreciate
our church family in Hawley (Hawley
Alliance Church) and enjoy
involvement in teaching
and children's ministry.
