The required text for the class is Modern Physics For Scientists and Engineers by Taylor, Zafiratos and Dubson. Problems are due at the beginning of class. Laboratory assignments can be found here.

We will cover chapters 13 through 18 in TZD. Specific readings will be announced in class. In addition there will be handouts and webpages assigned for readings. These will be distributed/announced in class as well.
