Science fiction films reflect and shape our attitudes about the future. In this course we will explore the historical, cultural, scientific, political and aesthetic dimensions of science fiction cinema from the 1930s to the present day. Bladerunner, Alien, Back to the Future, and 2001: A Space Odyssey are among the films we will study.
