Announcements

4/30/10 - Final exams have been graded.  Grades and solutions to the final have been posted.

4/20/10 - The final exam is scheduled for Friday, April 30 from 11 am-1 pm in our regular classroom (Ivers 221).  The final is cumulative but will have more weight on the material from Chapters 15-17.  You may use one sheet of 8.5 inch by 11 inch notebook paper, handwritten on one side and a calculator on the exam.   You may NOT have examples on your crib sheet, but formulas, algorithms, big ideas, and graphs are allowed.  You will turn in your crib sheet at the end of the exam. We will review in class on Friday, April 23 and Monday, April 26.  A practice exam and study guide have been posted. 

2/12/10 - Exam 2 will be on Wednesday, 2/17 during class.  It will cover material from Chapter 13.  You may use your calculator and one 3 inch by 5 inch note card, handwritten on one side.  You may NOT have examples on your note card, but formulas, algorithms, big ideas, and graphs are allowed.  You will turn in your note card at the end of the exam.

2/5/10 - Grade distribution forms are due today!!!  If you do not have one, you can get one here.  If I do not receive one from you by Wednesday, February 10, I will decide for you!  Projects were distributed today.  You can find a copy under the Handouts and Overheads link.  They are due on March 24.

1/27/10 - Exam 1 in on Friday during class.  It will cover material from Chapter 12.  You may use your calculator and one 3 inch by 5 inch note card, handwritten on one side.  You may NOT have examples on your note card, but formulas, algorithms, big ideas and graphs of basic quadric surfaces are allowed.  You will turn in your note card at the end of the exam.

1/21/10 - My son is sick (again!) so office hours today (Thursday) are cancelled.  I will be checking email today so send questions to me or you can stop in tomorrow morning.  I will be in my office from 9 am to 10:30 am.

1/18/10 - Office hours for this afternoon (Monday) and tomorrow morning (Tuesday) are cancelled due to illness.  I will be checking email, so send your questions to me at lenarz@cord.edu.

1/11/10 - Office hours for the rest of this week are cancelled due to my being out of town.  I will be in on Monday (even though we do not have class).  My office hours for next Tuesday (1/19) are 9:15-11:30 instead of 1:20-3:50.  If you email me this week, I will respond as soon as I can (contingent on wifi access at the conference).
