4/28/06 - The final exams are graded. Your grade on the final, grade for the course and letter grade for the course are posted under the Current Grades Link. The average score on the final exam was 71. There will not be a curve applied to the final exam grades or the course grades. If you would like your exam, you can stop by my office and pick it up. Please check that I have the correct scores for your assignments and exams. If you would like to dispute a grade, you must do so by 2 pm on Monday (I will be in my office on Monday from 10 am until 2 pm). I will submit grades to the registrar on Monday afternoon.
4/19/06 - The final exam is on Thursday, April 27 at 11 am. A practice exam will be posted today. Solutions will be posted by Monday. My office hours for the remainder of the semester are:
3/27/06 - Exam 3 is on Friday, March 31. It will cover Chapter 15 (not section 9). You may use a calculator and one 3"x5"index card (handwritten, both sides). We will review in class on Wednesday. A practice exam is posted on the web. Solutions will be up by Tuesday morning.
3/22/06 - The writing project and rubric are now posted under the handouts and overheads link.
3/13/06 - Exam 2 is on Wednesday, March 15. It will cover Chapter 14 (not section 4). You may use a calculator and one 3"x5"index card (handwritten, both sides).
2/10/06 - I can not make it today due to weather. Read section 14.1 (p. 887-897). Do the homework that is posted on the homework page for Monday. I have the exams graded and will post the scores on the grades page today. I will send out an email when it is done.
2/1/06 - There will be no class on Friday, 2/3. I will be back on Monday, 2/6, and we will review for the exam.
1/27/05 - I will be gone on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Dr. Zeng will teach class on Monday. The homework is posted under the homework link. Exam 1 will be on Wednesday, February 8. It will cover Chapters 12 and 13. You will be able to use a calculator and one 3"x5" index card (handwritten, both sides). We will review for the exam in class on Monday, February 6.
