Announcements

4/28/07 - The final exams have been graded.  Grades a are posted under the appropriate link and solutions will be posted on Monday afternoon.  The mean score was 71.2% and the median score was 78.3%.  Please check to be sure I have the correct scores for all of your homework and exams.  I will submit grades on Monday, so any errors need to be reported to me before then.  You may pick up your final exam if you would like it.  I will be in my office on  Monday from 10 am - noon.  Have a nice summer break!

4/23/07 - My office hours for finals week are as follows:

4/19/07 - The Final Exam is scheduled for Friday, April 27 from 11:00-1:00.  The final is cumulative and will weight the material evenly.  A practice exam and solutions of the same length and difficulty as the actual final exam is posted.  There are two parts: a non-calculator part and a calculator part.  There is also a study guide (just click on study guide).

4/10/07 - Exam 3 has been graded.  Grades and solutions are posted under the appropriate links.  The mean score was 78.9% and the median score was 79%.

3/28/07 - Extra credit was given today.  It is due on Monday, April 2 and is worth 10 points.  Exam 3 will be on Wednesday, April 4.  It will cover Chapter 4.  We will review in class on Monday, April 2.  A practice exam is posted under the link above and solutions will be added by tomorrow afternoon.

3/19/07 - Exam 2 has been graded.  Grades and solutions are posted under the appropriate links.  The mean score was 82.4% and the median score was 86%.

3/14/07 - The Chapter 3 textbook examples that you submitted are now available here.

3/13/07 - The solutions to the related rates worksheet are posted (under the Handouts and Overheads link).

3/5/07 - Self-evaluations are due on Wednesday, 3/7.  They should be 1-2 paragraphs stating what midterm grade you feel you have earned and why.  You should also tell me how you can improve your performance in the course during the remainder of the semester.  The remainder of the in-class worksheet from today can be turned in for 10 points of extra credit on Wednesday.  Exam 2 will be on Friday, March 16.  It will cover Chapter 3.  We will review in class on Wednesday, March 14.  A practice exam and solutions are posted under the link above.

2/16/07 - For 10 points of extra credit, do the problems here by Monday, February 19.

2/12/07 - Exam 1 has been graded.  Grades and solutions are posted under the appropriate links.  The mean score was 80.4% and the median score was 89%.

2/2/07 - Exam 1 will be on Friday, February 9 during class.  It will cover material from Chapters 1 and 2.  A practice exam and solutions are available at the link above.  We will review in class on Wednesday, February 7.
