12/15/05 - The final exams are graded. The average for this section on the final was 123.8 out of 150 (82.5 %). The average for both sections was 124.6 out of 150 (83.1%). Solutions to the exams are posted on the Practice Exams and Solutions page. Grades are posted as well. The final exam scores posted are your score out of 150, not your percent. If you need to speak with me about your grade, email me or call me. I will turn in grades tomorrow at 5 pm. Have a great Christmas Break.
12/9/05 - The final exam is on Thursday, December 15 at 8:30 am. There is a practice final posted on the Practice Exams and Solutions page. Please double check your grades with what I have posted to be sure there are no errors. Let me know of any discrepancy by Tuesday, December 13.
12/7/05 - Exam 4 Solutions are posted. Follow the Practice Exams and Solutions link. The average for this section was 69.9. The average for both sections was 68.9. You can do the makeup problem handed out in class to get a higher score on problem number 5. The makeup problem is due on Friday, 12/9.
11/29/05 - I cannot make it in today, the roads are closed. The project due date is pushed back until Friday, 12/2. I will have my office hours on Thursday instead of today.
11/28/05 - Due to the weather, I will not be in today. Homework is still due today: p. 378 # 3. For Wednesday, please read p. 380-390 and do problems #1-9 odd, 17, 21, 23, 33, 47 and 49 on page 390. The project is still due on Wednesday. I will be in my office tomorrow to give you extra help if you need it. Exam 4 will be on Monday, 12/5 and will cover sections 4.4, 4.7, 4.10, 5.1 and 5.2. We will review on Friday, 12/2. There are review problems posted on the homework page. Solutions will be up tomorrow.
11/18/05 - The writing project was handed out in class. I also gave a copy of a checklist of things to consider while writing.
