A Bit About Me....

    1)  Hometown - Osakis, Minnesota - Population 1355.   A small town, but set on a beautiful lake!

    2)  Undergraduate Education, B.A. - 1988-1992- St. Olaf College - Don't hold that against me - I'm proud
                                                             to be an Ole and a Cobber!

    3)  Graduate Education, Ph.D. - 1992 - 1998 - University of North Dakota School of Medicine
                                                                            - Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology.
                                           Yes, it is colder in Grand Forks!

    4)  Post-doctoral Work - 1997-1998 - Nutri-Pro, Inc., Salt Lake City, Utah.

    5)  Marital Status - No, the name isn't a coincidence - I am very happily married to Drew Rutherford in
                                 Chemistry.

    6)  Children - Three that have been around for a while....  All feline - Hershey, age 8; Snickers, age 7;
                          and Reeses, 5.5 years.  Can you tell I like chocolate?
                         If you take a class from me, you are sure to hear about these three!

                         As for "real" (i.e. human) children - our first baby (Eliana Christine) was born May 23, 2001 - and now she's 3!!  :)  I'm sure
                         you'll hear a lot about her in my classes as well!  :-)

    7)  Church Affiliation - I was raised Lutheran, and we are currently attending Hope Lutheran Church in Fargo.

    8)  Favorite Activities/Hobbies - Books, movies, music, camping, hiking, playing with the "kids" (i.e. Ellie and the cats), and
                                                      spending time with my husband!  (This list is not necessarily in the order of enjoyment!)
