MIDWEST DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS CONFERENCE

October 20-21, 2000

LOCATION: CONCORDIA COLLEGE Moorhead, Minnesota

The primary purpose of this conference is to promote research and education in the field of differential equations, i.e., ordinary and partial differential equations and functional differential equations, measure chains, difference equations, numerical techniques, and their applications to biology, engineering and physics. This meeting brings together established and new researchers and advanced graduate students for an exchange of ideas and discussions on the diverse aspects of differential equations.

The program will include the following plenary speakers:

• Johnny Henderson, Auburn University
• Stefan Hilger, Catholic University of Eichstaett, Germany
• Jim Muldowney, University of Alberta, Canada

Abstracts are now being solicited by the organizers for 20-minute talks; we hope you will consider attending and presenting your work. Please refer to the links below for more information.

There will also be a set of special presentations prior to this conference. North Dakota State University will be hosting the Fargo preconference workshop on boundary value problems and oscillation theory for differential equations on measure chains Thursday, October 19, 2000.
