5/23 Roma to Firenze

Today started off early with a train ride from Rome to Florence. When we arrived, we headed to our hotel and walked up the 6 flights of stairs just to get to the lobby! We had a chance to walk around and see some churches and do some shopping in the early afternoon. Later, we met a tour guide who led us through parts of Florence, and gave us a very detailed description of the art/building/history and anything else related. Our night was filled with pasta, pizza, and ice cream. And tomorrow heads off a day at the Uffizi museum and whatever our fearless leader has in store for us.
