5/22 Roma

We went to the Vatican City by Metro at around 9:00am. After waiting a long queue, we made it to the Vatican museum. It's huge and elegant. Security here was tight. We went through the Vatican museum and headed to the Sistine Chapel. We left the Sistine Chapel and continued towards the Cupola which is the top of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica. There are 320 stairs. Thus for most of us, this was huge sweat draining. But we finally climbed and got to the top and were able to see both the areas inside and outside the St. Peter's dome. We took several snap shots of the St. Peter's Square and its surrounding as well as the Swiss guards at the Vatican.
