DICKINSON, N.D. -- Concordia defeated the University of Regina 37–13 at Dickinson State on Friday in a meet that was scheduled as a warm-up before the Dickinson State Open. The meet was wrestled as an exhibition since the University of Regina is from Canada and competions against teams outside the United States do not count on a team's overall record in NCAA competition.

Luke Vetsch (174), Tony Neuman (184) and Ed Oehlers (197) recorded pins to lead the Cobbers. John Fradette (141) picked up a major decision while Matt Olson (133) picked up riding time to gain a 5-4 win. Leland Brincefield (125) and Lee Rahrlien (165) picked up forfeit wins.

The Cobbers are 3-2 in dual meets this season and will host their first dual meet of the year after the Dickinson State Open. Concordia will wrestle Southwest Minnesota State on Friday Jan. 13 at 7:00pm.
