Meet Recap
NORTHFIELD, Minn. (11/20/08)--Concordia used the strength of four pin falls to cruise past St. Olaf 39-7 in the second dual match of the season. The Cobbers won eight of the ten individual matches to post the 32-point win in Northfield on Thursday. CC is now 2-0 in dual meets this season.

The win was also the fifth straight for Concordia over the Oles.

The match turned in favor of the Cobbers at the 149-lb weight class when Justin Berns claimed the first of the CC pins. Concordia was holding a 7-4 at the time and with the pin extended the margin to 13-4. The Cobbers would never look back as they won six of the final seven matches in the meet. They also won the last three by pin fall.

Concordia sophomore Phil Moenkedick remained perfect on the year as he moved his overall record to 5-0. He came away with the quickest pin of the night. He beat Paul Reily in just :56 seconds of their match at 184.

Tony Neumann then followed suit by posting a pin at 4:41 in his match at 197. For Neumann it was his team-leading sixth win of the year. He is now 6-2 on the season.

Cobber heavyweight Nick Nadeau finished off the dual meet by claiming a pin at 4:42.

The other CC winners included freshman Ben Presler at 125, Ben Anderson at 141, Lane Lunde at 157 and Cody Salo at 174.

Concordia will now turn their attention to hosting the annual Cobber Open which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22 starting at 9 a.m.
