Playoff Hopes Dealt Body Blow

February 6
Concordia's playoff hopes were dealt a body blow on Saturday in St. Peter as the Cobbers were held scoreless by No.8-ranked Gustavus and lost 2-0. CC is now 4-6-4 in the conference and in fifth place in the league standings. Freshman goalie Jacob Vatnsdal made 31 saves as CC was outshot 33-19 in the game. Recap

February 5
If college hockey games were decided after 20 minutes then Concordia would have come away with a huge win. However, the teams have to play a full 60 minutes and, after leading 1-0 after one period, CC gave up five goals and lost 5-1 to Gustavus. Recap
