MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- Brock Citterman (So., Ivanhoe, Minn./Lincoln HS) nearly completed a triple-double, with 16 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, leading Concordia to a 75-70 victory over host Augsburg College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball game Wednesday night at Si Melby Hall.

Jason Miller (Sr., Moorhead, Minn.) had 17 points and Ryan Johnson (So., Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) had 14 points for the Cobbers, who broke a nine-game losing streak with the win, improving to 6-15 overall, 5-11 in MIAC play.

Charlie Scott (Jr., Ely, Minn.) and Justin Kozlowski (So., Wausau, Wis./Wausau Newman HS) scored 13 points apiece for Augsburg (3-19 overall, 2-15 MIAC), which lost its 12th straight game. Both players connected on three 3-pointers, with Kozlowski adding five assists. and Scott adding two steals.

Augsburg used a 16-4 run in the first half, keyed by eight points from Scott, to take its biggest lead of the game, 39-31 with 4:35 left. But the Cobbers outscored the Auggies 15-2 over the remainder of the opening stanza, with eight points coming from Citterman, to take a 46-41 halftime advantage.

Concordia led by as many as 13 points in the second half before Augsburg rallied to trim the lead to two points, 70-68 with 1:13 left. However, on the Cobbers' next possession, Anthony Boike (So., Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy HS) was fouled on a long three-point attempt as the shot clock expired, and he hit 2-of-3 free throws to give the Cobbers a two-possession lead. Augsburg missed two 3-point attempts on its final three possessions, and Concordia hit 3-of-4 from the free-throw line in the final 22 seconds to clinch the win.

Boike had eight points for the Cobbers, going 4-for-5 at the free-throw line. Ryan Templeton (Sr., Minot, N.D.) had six points and eight assists, and E.J. Adams (So., Grand Forks, N.D./Red River HS) and Gavin Ganab (So., Andover, Minn./Coon Rapids HS) contributed six points each.

Devin Rose (So., Granton, Wis.) scored nine points with six assists and two steals for the Auggies, while Kevin Keto (Jr., Forest Lake, Minn.) eight points with six assists and two steals. Dan Graf (Jr., Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) had seven points and five rebounds.
