| ARDEN HILLS, Minn. (1/2/10)-- Concordia exploded in the second half and outscored Bethel 35-20 on their way to a 68-53 victory in Arden Hills on Saturday. The win is the fourth straight for the Cobbers who raise their overall record to 7-3. CC is now 3-2 in the MIAC. Concordia had four of its five starters score in double figures. Besides Fraase's 16 points, Darrin Olmscheid had 15 points, four rebounds and two steals. Karl Olson was 6-for-7 from the free throw line and finished with 11 points. The one free throw miss for Olson ended a streak of 15 straight made free throws for the junior guard. Cobber sophomore Johny Molina was 4-for-7 from the field and added 11 points. It is the second time in the last three games he has scored in double figures. Bethel (5-4/1-3 MIAC) had only two players with more than six points and was led by the tandem of Chris Vavra and Taylor Hall who both had 11 points. Chris Breuer had a team-high five rebounds. Concordia held the edge in all shooting statistics. The Cobbers were 22-for-47 (46.8%) from the floor and 5-for-12 (41.7%) from 3-point range. CC was also 19-for-24 from the free throw line. The Cobbers connected on 11 more free throws than the Royals who were 8-for-15 (53.3%) from the foul line. BU went 21-for-54 (38.9%) from the field and 3-for-12 (25.0%) from behind the arc. The 38.9% field goal percentage is the lowest of the year for Bethel.
