MOORHEAD, Minn. (4/17/07)-- Concordia senior Heather Schuster (Grafton, N.D./Minto HS) was named the MIAC Women's Co-Track Athlete of the Week it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.
It is the second time in her career that she has won the weekly award.
Schuster finished second in the 1500 meters at the Cobber Sunny Day Meet on Saturday in a national provisional qualifying time of 4:39.34. Her time is currently the tenth fastest in the NCAA and is tops in the MIAC.
Schuster also ran a 57.0 split on the Cobbers’ winning 4x400 relay team.
