Two Records & An All-American!

May 28
Cobber senior Leah Kay saved her best multi-event for last. On Friday Kay catapulted from 10th place to second place in the heptathlon at the NCAA National Outdoor Meet to earn the sixth All-American honor of her career. Along the way Kay shattered the school record in the heptathlon (4,812 pts.) and the javelin (146-08).

Leah Kay qualified for the NCAA National Outdoor Meet in the heptathlon and high jump. Kay's appearance at the NCAA National Outdoor Meet will mark the 28th straight year that Concordia has sent at least one athlete to NCAA Outdoor Meet.
