(5/09/06)-- Concordia senior track standout athlete Natalie Hanson (Rogers, Minn./Elk River HS) was named the MIAC Co-Track Athlete of the Week for her record-breaking performance at the Ron Masanz Invitational last weekend. It is the second time that she has won the award this season. She was also named the MIAC Track Athlete of the Week on Apr. 4. Hanson posted a national provisionally qualifying time in the 1500 meters at the Tommie Twilight meet. Her time of 4:39.95 is the third fastest in the MIAC. Hanson also helped the 1600-meter relay team record a national qualifying time of 3:51.37. That mark is the second fastest in the conference this season.
