2009 - Named to the MIAC All-Conference Team...played in 36 games for the Cobbers...hit a career-high .364 in conference games and .327 in all games...led the team in RBI (20) in 2009 and was third on the team in hitting..was also second on the team in doubles (5) and triples against MIAC opponents...in conference play she hit safely in 17 of the team's 22 games for the second straight year. In her final two seasons Michaelson had at least one hit in 34 of Concordia's 44 league games...had five multiple-hit games and had a pair of three-hit performances during the season...finished the conference season with a career-high .470 slugging percentage and a .400 on-base percentage...led the league in pickoffs, was ninth in putouts with 118 and made only four errors in 130 chances...recorded her first collegiate triple against Carleton on Apr. 14.

2008 - Named to the MIAC All-Conference Team...played in 37 games for the Cobbers... finished the year with a .323 average, marking the first time in her career at any level that she has batted above .300... led the team in hitting and had an identical .323 average in conference play...finished the season by hitting in 12 consecutive games - the longest hitting streak by any CC player in the season and longest since the 2006 season...also led the team in hits (32) and doubles (8), was also second in slugging percentage (.465), on-base percentage (.373), RBI's (18) and stolen bases (7)...in conference play she hit safely in 17 of the team's 22 games...had four multiple-hit games and had an RBI in seven of the league games...had a .348 on-base percentage in conference games and recorded a slugging percentage of .446...recorded her first collegiate home run against Hamline on Apr. 20.

2007 - Played in 34 games for the Cobbers...tied for first on the team in doubles (8)....tied for third on the team in runs scored (11)...also led the team in sacrifice bunts (10), second in stolen bases (6), second in total plate appearances (118), third in walks (9) and fourth in total bases (32)...had five multiple-hit games including a season-high three hits against Aquinas College on Mar. 4.

2006 - Played and started in 32 games for the Cobbers...batting average of .269 with 18 hits and 3 RBI...fielding percentage of .928.

Personal: Letter winner in softball...daughter of Richard Michaelson and Deborah O'Brien...listens to Ben Folds, Green Day, Flogging Molly, and Fall Out Boy...favorite foods are steak and pasta...favorite movies are A League of Their Own, Good Fellas, Mighty Ducks, and Rent...enjoys playing golf and volleyball, ice fishing, and dancing.

The person I admire most: "My dad because he is a very strong person and has a good head on his shoulders. I look up to him in everything I do."

Why did you choose to come to Concordia? "As soon as I walked on campus, I instantly felt at home."
