For the second straight year Concordia baseball head coach Bucky Burgau will conduct a winter baseball clinic in January. This year's "Bucky Ball" camp will take place from January 2-5 and is available for players who are in grades 4-9. This year's camp will also feature a special appearance by current Philadelphia Phillies' catcher Chris Coste.

The 2008 "Bucky Ball" Winter Skills Camp will be held from Wednesday, Jan. 2 through Saturday, Jan. 5. in the Olson Forum Recreation Center on the Concordia College campus. Campers will learn fundamental baseball skills and be coached in small groups as well as one-to-one as they participate in drills and practices routines.

Instruction and practice in:
• throwing, catching, fielding
• position play
• hitting skills & bunting
• base running
• pitching: warm-up, mechanics, & grips

Camp Staff:

• Bucky Burgau, head coach Concordia College and coach with the F-M RedHawks
• Mike Reese, pitching coach Concordia College
• Concordia College players

Special guest appearance by Chris Coste former Concordia College and FM Redhawks player, and current major leaguer with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Grades: 4 through 6
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 4:30 to 6:00
Saturday - 9:00 to 10:30

Grades: 7 through 9
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 6:30 to 8:00
Saturday - 11:00 to 12:30
