Cobber Team Has Successful Fall

Cobber football started with two losses and then reeled off six straight wins. That led to a showdown with St. John's in the Fargodome for a share of the MIAC title on Nov. 5, played in front of 8,500 fans. Despite leading 19-14 late in the first half, the Cobs came away with a 35-19 loss. A 19-17 season-ending loss to Bethel in the Metrodome left the Cobbers 6-4, 6-3 and tied for 3rd in the MIAC.
