Jason Caron - A three year starter, Jason is one of the most dominating defensive tackles in the MIAC. He was a first team, all-conference pick last year and is off to a great start in 1996. He also will serve as a co-captain of the team and is an honor student majoring in biology.

Caron, the 6' 5" 250 lb. defensive tackle, has been playing regularly since he was freshman. In 1995 he blossomed into one of the finest defensive lineman in the conference. He made 59 tackles while recording eight sacks for the top-ranked defense in the MIAC. Through his junior year, Caron has made 143 tackles and has sacked quarterbacks 16 times.
Caron, a 1993 graduate of Bemidji high school, is majoring in biology. He is the son of Dennis and Theresa Caron of Laporte, Minn.
Concordia won a share of the MIAC title and advanced to their first Division III playoff game in eight years. They finished with an overall record of 8-2-1, 7-1-1 in the conference.
