Sr. Minot, ND Ran a 2:12.30 in the 800 meters at the Kansas Relays. That time breaks her own school record and automatically qualifies her for the NCAA Division III National Meet. |
4/22 Heidi Brenden Finishes 7th
in the 800 M at the Kansas Relays.
Concordia senior Heidi Brenden (Minot, ND) finished seventh in the
800 meter run at the prestigious Kansas Relays. Her time of 2:12.30 automatically
qualifies for the NCAA Division III National Meet, and is currently the
second fastest time in the nation in Division III - only 1/100th of a second
off the nation's fastest time held by Leah Juno of UW-Stevens Point. The
time also breaks her own school record of 2:13.36 which was set in 1999.
Brenden is coming off a very successful indoor season in which she finished second in the 800 meter run at the national meet. She also holds the school record in the indoor 800 meters.
4/18 Margaret Cropp Finishes Ninth at the KS Relay Pentathlon.
Margaret Cropp (Sr. Verona, ND) finished ninth in the Pentathlon at
the Kansa Relays. Her total of 4,083 points provisionally qualifies her
for the NCAA Division III national meet. Teammate Angie Strom (Sr., Brandon,
MN) finished 11th with a total of 3, 789.
