Office Manager
Job Description
As the office manager for our program, you will be expected to have an understanding of the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program. A background in teaching swimming lessons is a preferred prerequisite
Your duties as office manager include:
- Registering students for swimming lessons.
- Transferring students as necessary following the transfer policy.
- Utilizing Microsoft Access to update and maintain current files for each student.
- Printing class lists for each class in each session.
- Updating pass/fails for each students following each session.
- Mailing appropriate forms to the Minn-Kota Red Cross chapter.
- Completing monthly timecards for each employee.
- Walking through the pool area once each hour.
- Managing lost-and-found items.
- Answering the telephone and return all messages.
- Keeping instructors supplied with materials (testing sheets, Red Cross forms, unit plans, Red Cross cards, etc.)
- Interacting and communicating with the students and their parents as necessary throughout the session in a positive and respectful manner.
- Answering any questions the public may have about our program.
- Helping the instructors as necessary when dealing with other instructors, parents, equipment, etc.
- Reporting any problems to the Aquatic Director as soon as possible.
- Calling swimming and diving prospects when not doing any above activities.

- Starting wage of $6.50/hour with a $.25 increase each year.
