Head Instructor
Job Description

An understanding of this program and strict adherence to all guidelines are essential for our program to run smoothly and consistently.  The head instructors are key in the successful implementation of our Summer Swim Program.

Your duties as a head instructor include:

• Interacting and communicating with parents as necessary throughout the session.
• Answering any questions parents may have about our program.
• Dealing with upset parents in a caring and understanding manner.
• Helping other instructors with teaching techniques as necessary.
• Reporting any staffing issues to the Aquatic Director immediately.
• Reporting any emergency problems that occur while the Aquatic Director is not on duty immediately to Dr. Papenfuss, Deb Peschong, or Darla Ward in the main athletic office.
• Reporting other situations to the Aquatic Director by writing a note immediately and leaving it in the Aquatic Director’s office.

Your benefits as an instructor include:
