Ravenhorst Earns MIAC Honors!

ST. PAUL, Minn.-- Concordia junior midfielder Amy Ravenhorst (Hollandale, Minn./Albert Lea HS) was named the MIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week it was announced by the MIAC league office on Tuesday.

Ravenhorst scored the game-winning goals in both the Cobbers’ victories during the week. She also added an assist in a week that saw Concordia set a program record for most consecutive victories. The Cobbers have now won eight straight games and remain undefeated in conference play.

On Wednesday against Hamline, she scored at 8:08 to give Concordia an early lead and help the Cobbers post a 3-0 win on the road.

On Saturday, she scored the pivotal goal of the game when she headed home a goal at 1:21 of the opening period to put Concordia in the lead 1-0.

She is currently third on the team in scoring with four goals and six assists for 14 points. She is also tied for third in the MIAC in points in conference games (9) and is tied for second in assists (3).
