Despite finishing in second place in the MIAC and taking #3-ranked Macalester to overtime, Concordia did not receive an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.

MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Despite rattling off a program-record 15 wins in 2005 and finishing with a winning percentage of .789, Concordia did not receive an at-large bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Concordia finished the regular season 14-3 and in second place in the MIAC. The Cobbers proceeded to beat St. Thomas 3-0 in the semifinals of the conference tournament before losing to third-ranked Macalester 1-0 in overtime in the conference championship game.

The Cobbers set a program record for overall wins in a season with 15. Concordia led the MIAC in scoring in overall games as they had 50 goals in their 19 games.
