MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Concordia junior Morgan Bain (White Bear Lake, Minn.) was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Central Region Second Team as announced by the NSCAA national office on Thursday.

She becomes the first player in the history of the program to earn back-to-back All-Region award. Last year she was named to the All-Region Second Team as well.

Bain is one of eight players from the MIAC to be placed on the three All-Central Region Teams.

The honor caps another award-winning postseason for Bain. In November she was named to the MIAC All-Conference Team for the third straight season. She also earned ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District honors for the first time ever.

Bain helped Concordia win a program-record 15 games. The team also finished in second place in the regular season for the second consecutive season and earned a trip to the championship game of the conference tournament for the second straight year.

She finished the year with 38 points (16 goals, 6 assists) and during the course of the season became only the third player in program history to eclipse the 100-point barrier for a career. She now has 114 points in her first three seasons at Concordia.

Bain led the MIAC in points and goals in conference games and also led the league in goals in overall games.
