MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Even though the Concordia women's soccer team was slighted by the NCAA in the postseason tournament, the Cobbers were given their due respect as five players earned MIAC All-Conference postseason honors as announced by the league office on Friday.

Morgan Bain (Jr., White Bear Lake, Minn.), Miriam Lombardozzi (Jr., Billings, Mont.) Kelly Ping (Sr., Bozeman, Mont.) and Amy Ravenhorst (Jr., Hollandale, Minn.) were all named to the MIAC All-Conference Team, while Betsy Olesen (Jr., Bismarck, N.D.) earned MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.

Bain and Ravenhorst are the two Concordia players to repeat as all-conference selections. For Bain, it is the third consecutive season that she has earned all-conference honors. Ravenhorst is named to the all-conference team for the second straight season.

Lombardozzi gets the nod as an all-conference midfielder after earning honorable mention honors in 2004. Ping earns postseason honors for the first time in her career, and Olesen is placed on the honorable mention team after receiving all-conference honors in 2004.

The five Cobber players helped Concordia win a program-record 15 games. The team also finished in second place in the regular season for the second consecutive season and earned a trip to the championship game of the conference tournament for the second straight year.
