MOORHEAD, Minn. (9/07/07)-- Concordia gave up a lone goal in the 55th minute and fell to No.9-ranked UW-Eau Claire 1-0 on Friday in Moorhead. Amy Smith scored an unassisted goal at 54:41 to give the nationally ranked Blugolds the victory.

UW-Eau Claire outshot the Cobbers 7-4 in the game. CC goalie Britt Reiersgord made two saves in the game and Blugold keeper Allie Rivard also had two saves for the 90 minutes.

Concordia loses for the first time in the season and drops to 2-1-0 on the year. UW-Eau Claire remains unbeaten and raises their overall mark to 3-0.
