Complete Meet Results

NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- Concordia senior Natalie Hanson used the last meet before the MIAC Conference Championship to let the rest of the MIAC know that she is prepared to make a run at the individual championship.

Hanson cruised over the 5K course at the Running of the Cows Invitational held at Carleton College and captured her second consecutive individual title. Her finishing time of 18:25 was 21 seconds faster than the runner-up finisher - Leah Wurm of St. Ben's. Last year Wurm won the individual championship at the MIAC Conference Meet.

Hanson's finishing time of 18:25 is the fastest in her career for a 5K course and is one of the top five fastest times ever run by a women's cross country runner at Concordia.

As a team, Concordia finished fifth. There was a gap of 1:34 between Hanson and the next highest Cobber finisher. Alissa Bilden placed 21st in a time of 19:59. The final three finishers in the Concordia top five all finished within 1:00 of Bilden. Erica Lundgren placed 26th in a time of 20:19. Lindsay Kuznia followed in 31st place with a mark of 20:51, and Rachel Charpentier crossed the finish line right behind Kuznia with a finishing time of 20:58.

Concordia's next meet will be the MIAC Conference Championship Meet held at the Como Park Golf Course in St. Paul, Minn., on Oct. 29 at 2:00pm.
