Complete Meet Results

JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- After taking a week off to participate in Homecoming activities, Natalie Hanson and the rest of the Concordia women's cross country team did not miss a beat as they cruised to a second place finish at the Jamestown Invitational held at the Hillcrest Golf Course in Jamestown, N.D.

Hanson was the big story as she raced to a first place finish in a time of 18:57.00. Her finishing time was 35 seconds faster than the second place runner. It is the first time in her career that she has captured an individual title. Two years ago at the same meet on the same course, Hanson posted a time of 20:45.30.

Besides Hanson, three other Cobber runners finished in the top 20 in the meet. Alissa Bilden, known primarily as a middle distance runner in track and field, continues to improve in her distance running and finished sixth in a time of 20:02.00.

Bilden was joined by Erica Lundgren and Lindsay Kuznia as part of the 20 fastest runners. Lundgren ran a 20:28 and finished 11th. She finished with the same time as the 10th place runner but was nipped at the finish line. Kuznia, the premier Concordia pole vault athlete clocked a 20:57.00 and finished 17th.

The Cobbers will next compete in the "Running of the Cows" Invite at Carleton College in Northfield on Saturday, Oct. 15
