Match Stats vs. St. Olaf - Now Online! MOORHEAD, Minn.-- Concordia clinched its fifth-consecutive MIAC playoff berth with a thrilling five-game victory over St. Olaf (27-30, 30-24, 30-23, 32-30, 19-17). The victory improves the Cobbers' MIAC record to 7-2. Concordia is now 20-2 overall. It is the fourth consecutive season that the Cobbers have produced a 20-win campaign. That is the first time in program history they have won 20 games in four straight seasons. St. Olaf falls to 5-3 in the MIAC and 12-8 overall. The Cobbers were led by Becca Shane. Shane, who recorded her 1,000th career kill in Friday's win over Gustavus, had 25 kills and 13 blocks. Michelle Honek had 10 kills and 20 digs and Danielle Norby finished with 11 kills. Alyssa Dahl had a team-high 33 assists in the winning effort. Concordia will host St. Kate's on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7:00pm. |
