Complete AVCA National Rankings - Sept. 26 MOORHEAD, Minn. (09/19/06)-- Concordia held steady at No. 4 in the latest AVCA Division III National Rankings that were announced on Tuesday. The Cobbers, who entered the top 5 at No. 4 last week, defeated Augsburg 3-2 last Wednesday and St. Mary's 3-0 on Saturday to retain their poll position. The entire top 5 in the poll did not change with Juniata (N.Y.) holding down the top spot, followed by Washington University (Mo.) and then LaVerne (Calif.). Concordia and UW-Eau Claire round out the top 5. The Cobbers are one of four teams from the MIAC that are ranked in the top 25. St. Thomas is right behind CC at No. 6 and then St. Ben's at No. 24 and St. Ben's in 25th. Concordia has now spent 30 consecutive weeks in the top 25 in the nation. That streak is the longest in program history and is tied with St. Ben’s for the longest streak in the history of the MIAC.
