| MOORHEAD, Minn.-- Concordia held on to their spot at #12 in the national rankings. The Cobbers, who went 3-0 last week, are ranked 12th in the latest CSTV/AVCA Division III national poll that was released on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Concordia did improve in overall rankings points from last week. The Cobbers currently have 327 points, up from 277 last week. The ranking represents the highest a Cobber volleyball team has ever been ranked in program history. Earlier this year, Concordia was ranked as high as 13th. Overall, the Cobbers have been in the top 25 of the nation in all six polls in 2005 and have been nationally ranked for the past 17 weeks of the CSTV/AVCA Division III poll. That streak is the longest in program history and ties St. Ben’s for the MIAC team with the longest stretch of being ranked nationally. Concordia is the highest ranked team in the conference. Overall there are four teams from the MIAC ranked in the top 25. Carleton is ranked 13th, St. Thomas is 14th and St. Ben's is 22nd.
