COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- Eight different players scored goals and 10 had at least one point as the Colorado College men’s soccer team beat Concordia,

10-0, Saturday afternoon in a Division III match at CC’s Stewart Field.

David Khuen and Joey Wykoski had to make only three saves as the Tigers extended their winning streak to three matches and improved to 8-5 on the year. The Cobbers, who were playing for the second time in less than 24 hours, dropped to 1-12.

Colorado College went up 1-0 just over four minutes into the game on an own goal and Pat Fagan tallied the first of his two first-half markers just 3:04 later. Fagan finished with two goals and an assist, while Chris Quon had goal and two assists.

Julian Holscher extended his goal scoring streak to three games with an unassisted tally 30 minutes into the game. Brian Wohlner and Lee Smith also scored in the first stanza as CC built a 6-0 halftime lead.

The 10 goals are the most for the Tigers since a 10-0 victory against Cal Tech on Nov. 2, 2003.

Brett Oestreich had eight saves for Concordia.

Concordia will return home to play Mayville State on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 3:00pm
