| MOORHEAD, Minn. (08/16/06)--The good news for the Cobber men's soccer team after the MIAC Coach's Preseason Poll was released is that there is no where to go up. The bad news is that the other 10 coaches in the conference chose Concordia to finish in last place. The Cobbers are coming off a season where they failed to win a conference game all year and posted a 1-15-0 overall record. Concordia has not won an MIAC game since the 2003 season. Concordia will open their "climb the mountain" tour on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 1 p.m. at the St. John's Tournament when they play Concordia University (Wis.). The Cobbers will then turn around and play the University of Mary (N.D.) on Sunday, Sept 3 at 2:30 p.m. Both games will be played at the St. John's soccer field. The Cobbers open their MIAC conference schedule on Sept. 13 when they play at St. Thomas at 4 p.m. 2006 MIAC Coach's Preseason Poll | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
