ST. PAUL , Minn.-- Concordia sophomore Drew Dvorak (Litchfield, Minn.) was named the MIAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week for his winning performance at the Carleton Invite last weekend.

It is the second time in his career that he has earned conference athlete of the week honors. Last year he was named Co-Golfer of the Week for his performance in the same meet.

Dvorak fired a two-day total of 149 (73-76) to claim medalist honors by one over teammate Mike Lundberg.

Dorak has now placed in the top ten in three of the team's four event this fall. He placed eighth in the Erv Kaiser Invitational held in Fargo, N.D. He also placed fifth in the Concordia Invitational earlier this month. Last year Dvorak earned MIAC All-Conference honors as a freshman.
