Complete UW-Superior Invitational Results

SUPERIOR, Wisc.-- For the third consecutive meet of the season, sophomore Matt Putratz was the top Cobber finisher at the team's meet. Putratz ran a 27:26 and finished 18th at the UW-Superior Invitational held at Nemadji Golf Course in Superior, Wisc.

It is also the third straight meet that Putratz has finished among the top 20 individuals.

As a team, Concordia finished fifth. The Cobbers placed ahead of Lakehead College, hots UW-Superior and Northland College from Ashland, Wisc.

The next highest finisher for Concordia was freshman Brandon Huether, who placed 41st in a time of 28:31 Rounding out the top five for the Cobbers were Dan Bye, who ran a 28:53 and finished 29th, Jason Callander (58th/29:12) and Dustin Weege (77th/29:56).

Concordia's next meet will be the MIAC Conference Championship Meet held at the Como Park Golf Course in St. Paul, Minn., on Oct. 29 at 3:00pm.
